About Our Company

ABT Travels is a private travel planning and booking assistance company. We specialize in providing travel-related services including airline ticket bookings, vacation packages, hotel reservations, car rentals, and cab booking assistance.

ABT Travels is not affiliated with the Government of Canada or any airline, hotel, or transportation provider. We act as an independent travel service provider and booking facilitator.


Refund & Cancellation Policy

Most airline tickets, vacation packages, hotel bookings, car rentals, cab services, and service fees charged by ABT Travels are non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise in the fare rules or supplier terms.

All cancellation and refund requests must be made over the phone only.


Refund Eligibility Conditions

A refund request will only be processed if all of the following conditions are met:

  1. The customer has contacted ABT Travels to request cancellation.

  2. The fare rules of the airline or supplier allow cancellation and refund.

  3. The customer is not considered a “No Show.”

  4. A waiver is approved by the airline or service provider (if required).

  5. The supplier authorizes the refund.


No Show Policy

A “No Show” refers to a situation where:

  • The passenger fails to board the flight, OR

  • The passenger is not present at the scheduled departure time, OR

  • The airline or service provider was not informed prior to departure.

Most “No Show” bookings are not eligible for refund under airline or supplier rules.


Refund Processing Procedure

Once a cancellation request is submitted:

  • You will receive an email acknowledgment confirming that your request has been received.

  • This email will include a cancellation reference number.

  • This acknowledgment does NOT guarantee refund approval.

After receiving your request:

  • We will forward the cancellation request to the airline or supplier.

  • The supplier will determine whether the booking qualifies for a refund.

  • The supplier’s decision is final.


Refund Timeline

Refund processing may take:

60 to 90 business days

This includes:

  • Supplier review time

  • Airline waiver processing (if applicable)

  • Bank processing time after refund approval

Once approved, it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your bank account or credit card statement.


Service Fees

Please note:

  • ABT Travels’ original service fees are non-refundable.

  • Suppliers may charge cancellation penalties.

  • Refund fees are charged on a per-passenger, per-ticket basis.

  • Post-ticketing service fees may apply where applicable.

If a refund is not approved by the supplier, any refund-processing fee charged specifically for that transaction may be returned (excluding original service fees).


24-Hour Cancellation Policy

Where applicable under airline rules:

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of booking (subject to fare conditions).
